ছোট-বড় মাছ, পাতিহাঁস, রাজহাঁস, কচ্ছপ, সাপ, ব্যাঙ, গোসাপ ইত্যাদি বিভিন্ন ধরনের জলচর, স্থলচর কিংবা উভচর প্রাণী পুকুরে বাস করে ।

কিন্তু গোসাপ বিপন্ন উপজাতি ঘোষিত হবার পর এখন, ছাগলের মত বিকল্প পশুর চামড়া এই উদ্দেশ্যে ।

সিঙ্গলীলা পর্বতশ্রেণীতে ভ্রমণ ও পর্বতারোহনের সুবন্দোবস্ত আছে৷ হিমালয় গোসাপ দর্শনের জন্য সুকিয়াপোখরি বিখ্যাত৷ এছাড়া এই জায়গা থেকে একসঙ্গে মাউন্ট ।

কোমোডো ড্রাগন (Comodo Dragon) হলো বিশ্বের সবচেয়ের বড় গোসাপ যা ইন্দোনেশিয়ার কোমোডো দ্বীপপুঞ্জে ও জাভা দ্বীপপুঞ্জের পূর্বে পাওয়া যায় ।

"গুই"/"গো" নামটি এসেছে "গোধিকা" থেকে ।

মাতিলদার সহপাঠী ল্যাভেন্ডার মিস ক্রাঞ্চবুলের জগের পানিতে মজা করে একটি গোসাপ রেখে দেয় ।
